Leicester City ended their season on a high after securing a comprehensive 5-1 win against Queens Park Rangers in their final Premier League clash of the campaign at the King Power Stadium.

Jamie Vardy grabbed his fifth of the season in the first half before Marc Albrighton doubled the Foxes' tally on the stroke of half time.

Leonardo Ulloa and Esteban Cambiasso then added further goals after the break to all but kill off the contest before Charlie Austin headed in a consolation.

QPR wouldn't be able to conjure up a last-ditch revival, however, as substitute Andrej Kramaric struck a fifth to set off wild celebrations among the home fans.

Goal

Kasper Schmeichel: Wasn't troubled very often but was confident and reliable when called upon. Not at fault for conceding against Austin. (7/10)

Defence

Wes Morgan: Fairly solid overall, shoring up the defence well, and also set up his side's third goal. (7/10)

Robert Huth: Was responsible for a good block to deny Austin but didn't have too much to do otherwise. (6/10)

Marcin Wasilewski: Made a good interception in the first half but didn't make much more of a mark on the game before being forced off at the break. (6/10)

Midfield

Marc Albrighton: Rampant down the right flank, whipping a multitude of crosses and passes into the danger zone, and also weighed in with a well-taken goal. (9/10)

Andy King: Had a fairly quiet game as he played the supporting role for the evergreen Cambiasso. (6/10)

Esteban Cambiasso: A great performance from the Foxes regista, pulling the strings in midfield and capping his final appearance of the season with a goal. (8/10)

Jeff Schlupp: Leicester's Players' Player of the Year hit the side-netting twice and assisted Albrighton's goal. Another solid performance from the Ghanaian youngster, whose future looks bright. (7/10)

Riyad Mahrez: Constantly looked to make things happen for his side, driving them forward into the heart of the QPR defence. (8/10)

Attack

Jamie Vardy: Closing off a good season, the 28-year-old was given added impetus to perform following his England call-up, putting in a good shift and taking his goal well. (7/10)

Leonardo Ulloa: A decent performance from the Argentine forward, weighing in with several good chances before being in the right place at the right time for his goal. (7/10)

Substitutes

Ritchie de Laet: Came on at half time and had a quiet shift against the hapless Fer. (6/10)

Danny Drinkwater: Had a fairly anonymous performance with the latter stages of the game nothing more than a stroll. (6/10)

Andrej Kramaric: Came on late on but still had time to score a great goal and cap off his side's dominant performance. (7/10)

QUEENS PARK RANGERS

Goal

Alex McCarthy: A shoddy display from the R's stand-in goalkeeper, as he spilled a tame Mahrez shot in the first half, which Vardy converted, and looked vulnerable throughout. (4/10)

Defence

Nedum Onuoha: One of the better QPR performers on the day, he made a great goal line clearance and went close to scoring at the other end. (6/10)

Richard Dunne: The veteran Irishman produced some vital interceptions to prevent the scoreline from being worse. (6/10)

Clint Hill: Struggled against the quality of Ulloa and Vardy. A poor day at the office. (5/10)

Yoon Suk-Young: Completely out of his depth, he endured a torrid afternoon against the quality that Albrighton showed. (5/10)

Midfield

Joey Barton: Delivered a couple of decent set pieces for his teammates, one of them providing their goal, but his success rate from dead balls wasn't the best. (6/10)

Reece Grego-Cox: Had a great chance to score on his first Premier League start, but was fairly quiet otherwise. Should get the chance to develop next season. (6/10)

Leroy Fer: Was overshadowed by his opposite wingers and didn't provide anywhere near enough ammunition. (5/10)

Karl Henry: Had a relatively quiet game and couldn't get the better of the dominant Cambiasso. (6/10)

Matty Phillips: Tried his luck with a long-range effort that wasn't too far off target. (6/10)

Attack

Charlie Austin: Showed typically good movement and was in the right place for his goal. One of the club's few shining stars of a wretched season. (7/10)

Substitutes

Cole Kpekawa: Came on late but was partly responsible for setting Kramaric on his way to the hosts' fifth goal. (5/10)

Brandon Comley: Came on for his Premier League debut in place of Henry but was largely anonymous, although by then the game was dead and buried. (6/10)
