Sports Mole looks ahead to Saturday's Championship meeting between Huddersfield Town and champions Leicester at the John Smith's Stadium.

Leicester City finally completed the inevitable on Tuesday when a 1-0 victory over Bolton Wanderers confirmed them as the champions of the Championship this season.

It is a deserving crown for the Foxes, who have led the way for the vast majority of the campaign and swept aside most teams with relative ease.

The final two games of the season will now be little more than a victory parade, although the allure of a century of points still glimmers tantalisingly close.

Nigel Pearson has challenged his side to finish well in order to break the 100-point mark, which would require them to pick up four points from their final two matches.

On paper, with two teams in the bottom eight left to play, it looks like a straightforward task, but the players could be forgiven for already having their minds on the Premier League next season, while the final match of the campaign comes against a Doncaster Rovers side fighting for their lives.

However they finish, it has been a superb campaign for Leicester and the manner with which they have cruised to the title will raise hopes that they can compete in the top flight next season.

They boast both the best home record and the best away record in the Championship and have now gone 12 league matches without defeat on the road, a run that stretches back to early December.

Pearson could be tempted to change things for the final two games of the season, but that 100-point target means that he is unlikely to weaken his side too much. Jamie Vardy could return from injury, but Sean St Ledger remains sidelined.

Huddersfield, meanwhile, will be looking for a good end to the season themselves having broken a 10-match winless streak with a late 2-1 victory over Yeovil Town that effectively relegated the Glovers on Monday.

The victory also mathematically ensured their own safety, although the likelihood of them being dragged into the relegation mire has been a slim one for some time.

A mini-Yorkshire league has developed with Sheffield Wednesday and Leeds United both directly above Town, and finishing the season above their local rivals remains the only tangible target for Mark Robins.

They will want to give their fans something to shout about in the final home game of the season, however, as they have now gone five games without a win at the John Smith's Stadium.

The hosts will have Joel Lynch back available following his suspension, but top scorer James Vaughan and Keith Southern are still expected to miss out.
