Liverpool youngster Rhian Brewster could be in line to feature in the travelling squad for the Champions League fixture with Napoli.
Having failed to earn any first-team minutes this season, Brewster lined up for the second-string side against Derby County on Saturday.
However, the youngster lasted just 15 minutes of the fixture with the Rams, with the Liverpool Echo claiming that it was under instructions from the first-team setup.
Divock Origi sustained an ankle injury against Newcastle United, leaving the Belgium international highly likely to miss the trip to Italy for Tuesday's encounter with the Serie A outfit.
Brewster is now expected to provide backup to Jurgen Klopp's established front three, although Xherdan Shaqiri is another option in the final third.
The 19-year-old is still to make his senior debut for the Premier League leaders.
