Basel coach Paulo Sousa has claimed that his team needs to put in a "perfect" performance if they want to beat Liverpool in the Champions League.
The Swiss champions entertain the Reds on Wednesday having lost their opening match of the competition 5-1 against Real Madrid.
Despite Basel being in need of the points tomorrow night, Sousa admits that it will be very difficult for his side to overcome their Premier League opponents.
"We go to compete against an historic club with important players. We need to be perfect," the former Portuguese midfielder told reporters.
Liverpool head to Switzerland on the back of a 2-1 win over Ludogorets Razgrad in their first match.
