Sports Mole rounds up all of Liverpool's injury and suspension news ahead of the Merseyside derby against Everton in the Premier League on Saturday.
Sports Mole

Liverpool will make the trip to Goodison Park for the final time to face Everton in the 245th Merseyside derby on Saturday.

Arne Slot's men were held to a 3-3 draw at Newcastle United on Wednesday, dropping two points late on following Caoimhin Kelleher's error which allowed Fabian Schar to equalise.

That saw Liverpool's lead at the top of the Premier League cut to seven points, but by playing in the early kickoff they will have the opportunity to extend that before Chelsea and Arsenal play this weekend.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Liverpool's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the short trip across Stanley Park to face an Everton side that won 4-0 against Wolverhampton Wanderers in midweek.

Ibrahima Konate

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: December 26 (vs. Leicester City)

Konate broke down with a knee injury after the final whistle of their 2-0 win over Real Madrid recently, and has confirmed he will be out for an unspecified length of time.

Conor Bradley

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: December 26 (vs. Leicester City)

Right-back Bradley also suffered an injured in the win over Real Madrid, being forced off in the latter stages with a hamstring injury, and will also miss much of the festive period.

Kostas Tsimikas

Status: Out
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: Unknown

Kostas Tsimikas sustained an ankle injury shortly after the international break in November, and it is unclear how serious the issue is that was picked up in training, but he is not expected to feature here.

Diogo Jota

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Abdominal
Possible return date: December 10 (vs. Girona)

Jota was ruled out for the encounters with Real Madrid and Man City due to an abdominal issue, and has remained sidelined with the injury, with the attacker unlikely to be thrown straight in at the deep end in this one.

Alisson

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: December 26 (vs. Leicester City)

Manager Slot has confirmed Alisson will return before the end of December, but he is set to remain on the sidelines here with the hamstring issue that has kept him out for the past two months.

Federico Chiesa

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Fitness
Possible return date: December 10 (vs. Girona)

Following an injury-riddled start at the club, Chiesa is back in training, but like Jota, is unlikely to feature in a game of such intensity, so soon after a lengthy absence.

LIVERPOOL'S SUSPENSION LIST

Alexis Mac Allister

Return date: December 10 (vs. Girona)

Mac Allister picked up a yellow card in Liverpool's draw on Wednesday, taking his tally to five for the season and therefore triggering a one-match ban.
