Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed that Adam Lallana could potentially be absent for the next two matches as he continues to recover from injury.
On Friday, Klopp said that the midfielder would be absent from the FA Cup tie with West Bromwich Albion due to a "little issue", but the German has now been informed that the England international will not be available for the trip to Huddersfield Town on Tuesday night.
The 50-year-old is quoted by the Liverpool Echo as saying: "He's not ready for the Huddersfield game.
"Medical department told me no chance for West Brom, no chance for Huddersfield and a chance for Tottenham. After Tottenham for sure, but before Tottenham I don't know exactly."
Lallana missed the opening three-and-a-half months of the campaign due to a thigh injury, but returned as a substitute in the Premier League fixture with Chelsea on November 25.
However, since that appearance, Lallana has made just two starts and five substitute outings in all competitions.
