Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos has said that he is feeling "fine" after struggling with injury problems in the early stages of the 2021-22 campaign.
The Germany international did not make his first appearance of the season until the end of September, having missed his side's opening eight matches due to a groin problem.
Kroos has since featured in Real Madrid's last five La Liga fixtures, though, in addition to their last three Champions League games against Sheriff Tiraspol and Shakhtar Donetsk.
The 31-year-old has said that it 'took a while' to overcome the troublesome issue, but he is now back to full fitness at a vital stage of the campaign.
"I'm fine, it took me a while to get going with the injury I had but now I can say I'm feeling good," Kroos told Real Madrid TV. "The break will serve as a rest for me, I've played almost all the last six games and now I need to do some more specific work. I can handle the workload well."
Los Blancos are allegedly keen to open contract talks with the German amid suggestions that Manchester City, Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain and Newcastle United all want to sign him next year.
