Harry Redknapp has said that although Liverpool are rebuilding, they have got quality players and will be a dangerous opponent this weekend.
Redknapp's Queens Park Rangers face the Reds this weekend and he is no doubt that it will prove a tough game.
The 65-year-old also insisted that they would once again be the top club in England at some point.
"They are rebuilding and changing things around, it will take time," Redknapp told reporters. "Brendan [Rodgers] is bringing in different people now, it looks like they might get Daniel Sturridge.
"They've had some good wins and they've got fantastic players. They're still a dangerous side.
"These things go in cycles, and with the support and passion for the club up in Liverpool, I'm sure [success] will come again."
QPR welcome Liverpool to Loftus Road on Sunday at 4pm.
