Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski is still a summer transfer target for Premier League side Liverpool, according to a report.

The 23-year-old has been linked with the Reds on numerous occasions in the past, having supposedly caught the eye of Jurgen Klopp during a spell on loan with Empoli from Udinese.

Zielinski has only added to his valuation with his form for Napoli this season, bagging eight goals and two assists in the Italian top flight.

Tuttomercatoweb suggests that, despite previously cooling their interest, Liverpool are still monitoring the Poland international and could table an official bid in the summer.

The former Udinese man revealed in 2016 that he turned down the chance to join the Merseyside outfit, instead opting for Napoli.
