Liverpool have reportedly made England international Raheem Sterling available on loan in January.
The 18-year-old winger has started in just one of his seven Premier League appearances this season, and The Mirror reports that the Reds are looking to secure him regular first-team football.
According to the same source, manager Brendan Rodgers wants to replace him with the more experienced Diego Capel, who has been in Portugal with Sporting Lisbon for the past two years.
Sterling made 36 appearances last term, and won his first cap in the 4-2 defeat to Sweden in Stockholm a year ago.
