Port Vale have come from behind to secure a 3-1 win over National League South outfit Maidenhead United in their FA Cup first-round replay at York Road.
The hosts, who secured a 1-1 draw in stoppage time at Vale Park, went ahead on the quarter-hour mark when Richard Duffy cleared a Ben Wright effort off the line before Alan Massey netted on the rebound.
In the 35th minute the Valiants restored parity through Michael O'Connor, who nodded Sam Foley's cross past goalkeeper Carl Pentney for his second goal of the season.
AJ Leitch-Smith then scored his second goal in as many games just after the restart when he poked the ball past Pentney from close range.
The game was finally put to bed just before the hour when Leitch-Smith sealed his first brace in Vale colours by finishing off a good team move involving Foley, Louis Dodds and Adam Yates.
