Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart has admitted that it is "hard" for him to see any positives in his recent omission from the starting lineup.
Summer signing Willy Caballero has been preferred to the England number one for City's last two matches, although Hart will reportedly return between the posts for the upcoming Champions League encounter with Italian side Roma.
When asked by reporters if there was any benefit to having a stint on the sidelines, the 27-year-old replied: "It is hard for me to see it that way. I want to play every game, that's my nature, my professionalism.
"I'm not the manager, he makes the decisions. I think he knows I want to play. When I retire from football I'll see the positives but at the moment I don't."
Hart has made six appearances in all competitions so far this season.
