Costel Pantilimon will reportedly continue in goal for Manchester City when CSKA Moscow visit the Etihad Stadium in the Champions League on Tuesday.
The Romanian was handed the gloves for Saturday's 7-0 thrashing of Norwich City, with regular number one Joe Hart suffering from a crisis of confidence.
According to the Daily Mail, manager Manuel Pellegrini will give Pantilimon the nod once again as he looks to guide City to the knockout stages of the Champions League for the very first time.
"For the moment we must support Costel Pantilimon," the Chilean told reporters. "Joe made a lot of mistakes, he knows.
"So I think for Joe it is a good moment to stop. I am sure that working hard he will return to normal, but I don't know when.
"I have confidence in Costel. If I don't have trust in him, I will change it."
Pantilimon joined the Citizens from FC Timisoara in 2011 and is yet to feature in European competitions for the club.
