Manuel Pellegrini praises the performance of Joe Hart against Viktoria Plzen but refuses to say if he will stay in the Manchester City team against Swansea City.

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has refused to reveal whether goalkeeper Joe Hart will retain his place in his side's starting lineup against Swansea City in the Premier League at the weekend.

The England international returned to the Citizens' team for their 4-2 home win against Viktoria Plzen in the Champions League on Wednesday.

"I think Joe Hart played very well," The Mirror quotes the Chilean boss as saying.

"I didn't expect that he would have to work so much during the game because I think this is the match when the other team, including Champions League and Premier League, had the most chances to score.

"From tomorrow we will start thinking about the next game. Now we are talking about the Premier League. I repeat, I think Joe did a very good performance."

City have progressed to the last 16 of the competition from Group D.
