Manchester City midfielder Gareth Barry has declared that his side can use their late FA Cup win at Stoke City as a catalyst to chase a domestic double this season.
Roberto Mancini's men ended a poor recent record at the Britannia Stadium on Saturday with a 1-0 success thanks to Pablo Zabaleta's decisive strike.
The Premier League holders are yet to concede a goal in 2013 and have won their last five matches in all competitions including a 2-0 victory over Arsenal at the Emirates.
Barry believes that City are finding form and confidence at just the right time.
He told The Mirror: "It's obviously a fantastic win. I'm not too sure in my career that I've ever won here, so it's a fantastic result.
"To get rid of the hoodoo at Arsenal, winning there, and it's a while since we won at Stoke as well, so they're great victories."
City return to league action on Tuesday against Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road.
