Manchester City duo Frank Lampard and Samir Nasri have both been left out of the squad to face West Ham United on Saturday.
Manager Manuel Pellegrini has revealed that both players aren't ready to return from respective thigh and groin problems, but the pair could be fit for next weekend's Manchester derby.
The 61-year-old told reporters: "Frank Lampard is not ready for this week, but maybe next week he will start working with the whole squad.
"Samir Nasri was working with whole squad after we got back from Russia. Maybe next week he will be okay. All the other players are fit."
City are currently five points behind leaders Chelsea in the Premier League table.
