Alexander Buttner has spoken of his desire to be included in the Manchester United starting lineup for tomorrow's Champions League clash against Shakhtar Donetsk.
The Dutchman has made just four appearances for the Red Devils this season, one of which has come in Europe's top club competition.
However, due to the fact that United have already qualified for the knockout stages, Buttner is hoping that he may come into consideration for the visit of the Ukrainian giants.
"I was pleased to get some minutes in such a big game and I hope to get some more in the next few matches," he told the club's official website.
"I am training hard every day and I hope to be involved in the games coming up. I'm waiting for my chance."
Buttner joined United last summer from Vitesse Arnhem.
