Bruno Fernandes has acknowledged that Manchester United 'must do much better' after suffering back-to-back defeats.
Having lost out to Arsenal on Sunday evening, United under-performed again as they succumbed to a 2-1 reverse against Istanbul Basaksehir in the Champions League.
The English giants have come in strong criticism since the latest setback on Wednesday evening, and Fernandes has acknowledged that United can ill-afford another defeat against Everton at the weekend.
The Portugal international told MUTV: "We need to look one week ago everyone said we're going well and doing amazing games, we won against Newcastle, PSG, we beat Leipzig and we drew against Chelsea, but the points we have in the league is not the points we want.
"Today was important to win to be comfortable in the table. But now it's the same, we need to go for every game to try and win and it will not be different now in the Champions League, we're in a good position.
"In the league we're not in a good position, we need to do much better and we need to do something in the next game."
United will head into the game sitting in 15th position in the top-flight standings, nine points adrift of leaders Liverpool.
