Marcus Rashford will be bidding to kickstart what has been a disappointing campaign to date when Manchester United head to Everton in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
The 26-year-old has only managed one goal and three assists in 16 appearances for the 20-time English champions during the 2023-24 season.
Rashford will be suspended for next week's Champions League clash with Galatasaray, but he is available to face Everton despite suffering an injury scare during the international break, being forced off the field in England's clash with Malta last Friday due to a heavy collision.
Here, Sports Mole takes a look at how the Red Devils academy product has performed against Everton during his professional career.
Rashford has faced Everton on 16 occasions, and he boasts a strong record against them from a team point of view, posting 10 wins, four draws and two defeats.
In the Premier League, the Englishman has made 13 appearances against the Toffees, recording seven wins, while there have also been four draws and two defeats for Man United in Rashford's clashes with the Merseyside outfit.
Surprisingly, though, Rashford has only ever scored once against Everton, which came in the third round of last season's FA Cup; he provided two assists in the same match, but that is his only goal against the Toffees in professional football.
Rashford has three Premier League assists against the Toffees, which have come in three of his last five fixtures with them, including at Old Trafford in a 2-0 Man United win last season.
Despite being part of plenty of successes against Everton, Rashford's personal record in games with the Merseyside club is disappointing.
The forward's low-point in fixtures against the Toffees came in the latter stages of the 2018-19 campaign, when he was a part of the Man United side that suffered a 4-0 defeat.
Rashford was also a part of the team that lost 1-0 at Goodison Park in the Premier League during the 2021-22 season, but he helped Man United win 2-1 at the famous stadium in the league last term.
The striker would create some personal history if he netted against Sean Dyche's side this weekend, and a strong performance could help him kickstart what has been a faltering campaign to date.
