While Villa are capable of raising their game in front of their own supporters, we cannot back against Watford, who are currently showing everything required to get themselves out of a relegation scrap. Bournemouth play host to Brighton & Hove Albion on Tuesday evening sitting three points adrift of safety after a poor run of form in the Premier League.

Despite a three-game winless streak of their own, Brighton go into the meeting at the Vitality Stadium with a three-point cushion above the relegation zone.

Despite home advantage, it is difficult to back Bournemouth right now. As far as Brighton are concerned, playing on away territory may suit them, and we feel that the Seagulls will have too much quality in the final third.

Crystal Palace vs. Southampton (Tuesday, 7.30pm)

Crystal Palace will be looking to build on their 2-2 draw with Manchester City when they welcome Southampton to Selhurst Park for a midweek Premier League clash.

The Eagles came away from the Etihad Stadium with a share of the spoils to end the weekend ninth in the table, two points ahead of opponents Southampton.

Everton vs. Newcastle (Tuesday, 7.30pm)

Fresh from snatching a late victory over Chelsea on Saturday, Newcastle United return to Premier League action in midweek as they take on Everton at Goodison Park.

The sides enter Tuesday's match level on points following Everton's 1-1 draw with West Ham United, though the Toffees are a place better off than United by virtue of a superior goal difference.

A place in the top half of the Premier League awaits the winner and on the basis of the season so far there is little to choose between them. Newcastle kept a rare shutout last time out and we are backing them to do likewise on Tuesday.

Sheffield United vs. Man City (Tuesday, 7.30pm)

Their Premier League title hopes in tatters, Manchester City head to Sheffield United on Tuesday evening with boss Pep Guardiola admitting his focus is now elsewhere.

The reigning champions were held to a 2-2 draw by Crystal Palace on Saturday and are now 16 points adrift of runaway leaders Liverpool, who still have a game in hand to play.

Three of United's six Premier League losses this term have come against teams starting the day in the top three of the division, losing each of those without scoring. We expect a similar outcome in Tuesday's clash at Bramall Lane.

Chelsea vs. Arsenal (Tuesday, 8.15pm)

Both Chelsea and Arsenal will be looking to bounce back from disappointing results when the London rivals lock horns at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League on Tuesday night.

The Blues remain fourth in the Premier League table but suffered a 1-0 loss at Newcastle United on Saturday, while Arsenal were held to a 1-1 draw by Sheffield United at the Emirates Stadium.

Both teams will be desperate to return to winning ways following disappointing results at the weekend, but we are leaning towards a low-scoring draw at Stamford Bridge. Arsenal, even without Aubameyang, are certainly capable of putting in a positive performance against an inconsistent Chelsea side.

Tottenham Hotspur welcome Norwich City to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Wednesday, with Jose Mourinho's side in need of a win following a poor recent run of form.

The visitors tasted victory on Saturday for just the fourth time in the Premier League this season and know any positive result here will do their chances of survival a lot of good.

Manchester United vs. Burnley (Wednesday, 8.15pm)

Manchester United play host to Burnley on Wednesday night looking to respond to losing out at Premier League leaders Liverpool at the weekend.

Meanwhile, the Clarets make the trip to Old Trafford having ended a run of four successive defeats with a comeback victory over Leicester City.

Wolves vs. Liverpool (Thursday, 8pm)

Champions-elect Liverpool travel to Molineux to face Wolverhampton Wanderers on Thursday looking to continue their remarkable run of form.

Jurgen Klopp's side have won 21 and lost none of their 22 games in the Premier League this season to build a 16-point lead at the top of the table, but take on a Wolves side that ran them close in the reverse fixture at Anfield.

Thursday's match looks like it could be one of the toughest Liverpool have left this season, but Klopp's side have become masters at grinding out results. Wolves have a dreadful scoring record against the Merseysiders and have developed an unwelcome habit of conceding the first goal in games recently, which is a position Liverpool very rarely drop points from nowadays.
