Manchester United captain Harry Maguire could reportedly be available for his side's Premier League clash with Leicester City on Saturday afternoon.
The 28-year-old picked up a calf problem during the defeat to Aston Villa on September 25, which ruled him out of the matches against Villarreal and Everton.
Maguire was initially not expected to return until the latter stages of October, but according to the Manchester Evening News, the centre-back could be in line to feature at the King Power Stadium.
The England international has largely played alongside Raphael Varane at the heart of the back four this term since the latter's arrival from Real Madrid.
Varane has emerged as a doubt for Saturday's clash with Leicester, though, with the World Cup winner picking up a thigh problem while representing France in the UEFA Nations League final.
Marcus Rashford has returned to full training, meanwhile, and the Englishman is in contention to make his first appearance of the season this weekend.
