Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera has returned to training at Carrington after missing the team's last three games with a hamstring injury.
The 26-year-old suffered the problem last month during the Red Devils' 2-1 victory over Watford at Vicarage Road.
The Spaniard is not part of the squad for tonight's crucial Champions League clash against Wolfsburg in Germany, but he has given manager Louis van Gaal a boost ahead of this weekend's match against Bournemouth on the South Coast.
Herrera tweeted: "not a bad day to put in some hard work on the pitch. getting closer to a return. Good luck to my teammates tonight."
Meanwhile, Bastian Schweinsteiger is facing a three-match ban after he was charged with violent conduct on Monday, but there are reports that the German World Cup winner will contest it.
