Manchester United will reportedly make new signing Bastian Schweinsteiger the highest-paid midfielder in the Premier League.
The German World Cup winner signed a three-year deal with the Red Devils on Monday after Bayern Munich accepted a reported £14m bid.
According to the Daily Star, the 30-year-old will move above Manchester City's Yaya Toure to become the biggest-earning midfielder in the league with a wage of £275,000 a week.
Schweinsteiger, who clinched World Cup glory in 2014, won 20 major honours during his time with Bayern.
