Marcus Rashford will be looking to help Manchester United make it four Premier League victories in a row in Thursday evening's clash with Tottenham Hotspur in North London.

The Red Devils have beaten Brentford, Everton and Nottingham Forest in the league since the 2-0 loss at Newcastle United, and they are in a strong position to claim a top-four spot this season.

Indeed, a total of 59 points has left them in fourth spot in the table, five points clear of fifth-placed Aston Villa, with three matches in hand on Unai Emery's side, while they are six points ahead of both sixth-placed Liverpool and seventh-placed Tottenham Hotspur, with two games spare on both sides.

Rashford was recently on the sidelines with a muscular issue but has recovered to feature in the team's last two matches, and he is set to start against Spurs at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The 25-year-old has had an excellent season, scoring 28 goals and registering 10 assists in 49 appearances in all competitions, including 15 goals and four assists in the league.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how the England international has performed against Tottenham throughout his professional career.

Rashford has faced Tottenham on 13 occasions during his first-team career and boasts a strong record against them, recording nine wins, one draw and three defeats.

The Englishman has also scored four times against Spurs, with all of those goals coming in the Premier League, but he does not have an assist to his name versus the North London side.

Rashford's league record against Tottenham is played 12, won eight, drawn one and lost three, with the other fixture taking place in the FA Cup during the 2017-18 campaign - the forward featuring as a late substitute in what proved to be a 2-1 victory for the Red Devils at Wembley.

The academy product actually lost his first-ever game against Spurs, with the capital side beating Man United 3-0 at White Hart Lane towards the end of the 2015-16 campaign.

Rashford featured as a substitute in both of the league games between the two sides in 2016-17, helping Man United win 1-0 at Old Trafford, but the reverse match was won 2-1 by Spurs.

The forward's first strike against Spurs came in London during the 2018-19 Premier League season, with his effort proving to be the difference between the two sides.

Rashford then struck twice for Man United in a 2-1 victory at Old Trafford in 2019, while his last goal against Spurs was at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last season in a 3-0 win for the Red Devils.

The attacker has actually helped the 20-time English champions triumph in their last four league games against Spurs, including a 2-0 success at Old Trafford earlier this season.

However, Rashford has some bad memories of taking on Spurs, as he played the full 90 minutes of the London club's incredible 6-1 victory in Manchester in the early stages of the 2020-21 campaign.
