Sports Mole rounds up all of Manchester United's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their Premier League clash with Brentford on Wednesday.
Sports Mole

Manchester United will aim to snap a three-game winless and scoreless streak in the Premier League when they host Brentford at Old Trafford on Wednesday evening.

The Red Devils lost their grip on a podium spot in a 2-0 defeat to Newcastle United on Sunday, with Joe Willock and Callum Wilson netting after the break.

Erik ten Hag's side have subsequently slipped below the Magpies into fourth place in the table, having failed to beat or make the net ripple against Newcastle, Southampton and Liverpool in their last three top-flight outings.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Man United's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the clash with the Bees, who played out a thrilling 3-3 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion at the weekend.

Christian Eriksen

Status: Out
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: Unknown

Ten Hag revealed last week that Christian Eriksen is poised to return to first-team training in the coming days, but the Dane is still a couple of weeks away from coming back from his serious ankle problem.

Donny van de Beek

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

While Eriksen will be back imminently, the same cannot be said for fellow midfielder Donny van de Beek, who is out for the rest of the season with a knee injury.

Alejandro Garnacho

Status: Out
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: Unknown

Alejandro Garnacho left Old Trafford on crutches due to a serious ankle injury against Southampton last month, and it is currently unclear when the teenage attacker might return.

Tom Heaton

Status: Out
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: Unknown

Backup goalkeeper Tom Heaton joins the long list of ankle victims for the Red Devils, and the Englishman will be out for "a few weeks" as he recovers from the issue.

MANCHESTER UNITED SUSPENSION LIST

Casemiro

Return date: April 16 (vs. Nottingham Forest)

Casemiro was sent off for the second time this season in the goalless draw with Southampton last month, and the Brazilian midfielder serves the third of his four-game ban this week. body check tags ::
