Ashley Young is reportedly holding out for a new two-year deal at Manchester United to take him through until the age of 35.
The England international has featured six times for the Red Devils this term and was given the captain's armband against Juventus in midweek.
United triggered a 12-month extension in the former Watford and Aston Villa ace's contract in March, meaning that he will officially become a free agent at the end of the campaign.
Young is keen to stay on for another couple of seasons, according to The Mirror, taking him through to a decade with the club.
The report indicates that Young, who is on wages of around £130,000 a week, is waiting to hear back from United.
