Sergio Ramos's mother has rejected reports that the Real Madrid defender wants to join Manchester United this summer.
The Spain international is said to be the subject of a £28.6m bid from the Red Devils.
After spending a decade at the Bernabeu, reports have claimed that Ramos wants to leave La Liga and continue his career at Old Trafford as he feels unfairly treated by Real.
However, the defender's mother Paqui Garcia has insisted that the 29-year-old, who has won three league titles, the Champions League and a World Cup, wants to stay in Spain.
When asked by Chiringuito TV whether Ramos wants to remain with Real, Ms Garcia said: "Absolutely. At Madrid above all else."
When probed on the rumours that Ramos is keen on a switch on United, his mother said: "No, I don't think so. He loves Spain."
There have been suggestions that the defender could be included in a swap deal involving goalkeeper David de Gea.
