Ipswich Town's David McGoldrick has cancelled out an Albert Adomah strike to hold Middlesbrough to a 1-1 draw at half time.
The visitors went ahead through Adomah on 12 minutes, as the Ghana international tucked his effort beyond goalkeeper Dean Gerken to net his first goal for the club.
Tony Mowbray's men would not have the lead for long, though, as the Tractor Boys drew level through marksman McGoldrick, who smashed his effort past goalkeeper Jason Steele in the Middlesbrough goal to restore parity.
Mick McCarthy then thought he saw his team secure a 2-1 half-time lead, only for Frank Nouble's goal to be ruled out for offside.
