Middlesbrough boss Tony Mowbray has slammed his side's defending in their 3-2 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux.
An own goal from Stephen McManus and strikes from Bjorn Sigudarson and Kevin Doyle were enough to secure the three points for the home side.
He told the club's official website: "We were disappointed at halftime not to be a goal or two up but you can't lose the kind of goals we did.
"We keep conceding really, really soft goals, the last one in particular, but that's where we are.
"It's been disappointing since the turn of the year. The desire to win a match was very evident but we've come away with nothing."
Middlesbrough are ninth in the Championship, six points adrift of the playoff places.
