A promising first half from Millwall has ended without reward following a goalless 45 minutes against Brighton & Hove Albion.
Millwall started the brighter of the two sides, but an extended spell on top failed to bring many openings as Aiden O'Brien fired just wide from a promising position.
Lee Gregory's clever running caused problems for Brighton, and his persistence created a chance for Martyn Woolford, who struck the side-netting after meeting his cross.
Brighton continued to be forced onto the back foot, with Shaun Williams curling a free kick just over before Woolford tested David Stockdale with a powerful strike.
However, Brighton's attack came to life in the closing stages of the first half as Leon Best forced David Forde into a fine low save.
