Matej Vydra has given Watford a half-time lead away at Millwall in the Championship, with a fine volley from outside the box.
The Hornets made a fast start and sent a warning sign to Millwall as Troy Deeney got in behind the defence and forced a save from David Forde after 37 seconds.
Deeney went close again ten minutes later, as he looped a header from Adlene Guedioura's cross just over the bar.
The South London side couldn't keep them out for long though, as Vydra's volley flew past Forde from 20 yards in the 26th minute.
Ben Watson went close to doubling their lead a few minutes later, but he pulled his effort wide after Juan Carlos Paredes found him in the box with a low cross.
Millwall had plenty of possession but they struggled to create chances, with Ed Upson's wild free-kick the closest they came to scoring.
