Montreal Impact have won their first game of the MLS season with a convincing 4-1 victory over Real Salt Lake.
The hosts took the lead after 18 minutes when Laurent Ciman side-footed the ball into the back of the net from close range.
Two minutes later, they doubled their lead through Andres Romero, who neatly lobbed the keeper before Dominic Oduro came close to a third.
Romero did find the third a few minutes later to give his side total control.
Things almost got worse for Real Salt Lake when Elias Vasquez conceded a penalty, but Ignacio Piatti struck the post.
Devon Sandoval pulled one back for the visitors after the break, but Dilly Duka wrapped up the points for Montreal with a simple tap in.
