Napoli playmaker Marek Hamsik has insisted that his side's belief in their ability to finish top of Serie A this season has not been shaken by Sunday's 3-0 defeat at Juventus.
The Azzurri slipped to their second loss of the season in Turin, with goals from Fernando Llorente, Paul Pogba and Andrea Pirlo leaving Rafael Benitez's side third in Serie A.
A statement on Hamsik's personal website read: "It was an important game at Juventus, but not decisive.
"We are saddened by the loss, but the championship is long. Fortunately, Roma drew at the weekend so the teams at the top are very close.
"We are only at Week 12 and everything is still in our own hands, we'll still have to play Roma and Juventus again in the Spring."
The 26-year-old has scored six goals in 12 league games for Napoli so far this season.
