Napoli manager Rafael Benitez has reportedly told the club's players that he plans to leave at the end of the season.
The Spaniard's contract expires at the end of the campaign, which has led to speculation linking him with Manchester City.
Reports on Sunday suggested that the former Liverpool and Chelsea boss will leave the Partenopei following a string of poor results.
It is thought that Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentis has begun the search for a new manager, with former Roma coach Luciano Spalletti among the favourites to take charge.
According to SportMediaset, Benitez has already told players that he will leave Stadio San Paolo in the summer.
Benitez took charge of Napoli in 2013.
