A late goal from A.J. Soares has earned New England Revolution a 1-0 win at Montreal Impact in the MLS Eastern Conference.
Marco Di Vaio was denied twice in the opening half for the hosts, while his teammate Hassoun Camara should have done better with a header midway on 22 minutes.
The hosts continued to have the better of possession after the break as Davy Arnaud and Justin Mapp were both denied by Bobby Shuttleworth.
However, Soares snatched the three points in the 88th minute when he headed in Chris Tierney's cross.
