New England Revolution have opened up a 2-1 lead over Sporting Kansas City in the first leg of their MLS Eastern Conference playoff semi-final at Gillette Stadium.
After a goalless first half, it was the home side who got themselves in front when Juan Agudelo finished from close range 10 minutes after the break.
Lee Nguyen's pass set up Kelyn Rowe to double the lead in the 67th minute, but French striker Aurelien Collin handed his team a lifeline two minutes later.
In the end, the Revolution ran out winners by the single goal, with the return leg taking place at Sporting Park on Wednesday.
