A header from Leon Osman has given Everton the advantage over Norwich City as the two sides went into the break at Carrow Road this afternoon.
The early exchanges in this match were relatively even and both sides created chances before the 10-minute mark.
The first was created by hosting Norwich and Robert Snodgrass, who saw his low shot blocked by a sliding Sylvain Distin. Then up the other end goalkeeper Mark Bunn reacted quickly to deny Everton striker Nikica Jelavic from close range.
Everton then began to dominate proceedings, with Marouane Fellaini in particular causing problems to the Norwich rearguard.
Their pressure finally told six minutes before the break, although it wasn't Fellaini who broke the deadlock. Leighton Baines sent over a cross from the left for an unmarked Osman, who headed in his first away goal since 2011.
