Anthony Pilkington has insisted that Norwich City will not take their "foot off the pedal" between now and the end of the season.
The Canaries have had an impressive season on their return to Premier League football, amassing 43 points to date.
Midfielder Pilkington was among the goalscorers as Norwich defeated Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 on Monday afternoon and the 23-year-old has insisted that the squad are keen to build on the Spurs victory.
"The gaffer said he wanted to beat one of the big teams and we've gone to Tottenham and done that really well," said Pilkington. "I don't think you can take the foot off the pedal in the Premier League and if you're not at it in any game you'll be made to look silly.
"The manager wouldn't let us ease off anyway, never mind the boys."
Pilkington joined Norwich in the summer from Huddersfield Town.
