Nathan Redmond has revealed that he was pleased to score the winning goal for Norwich City against Southampton this afternoon.
With the match balanced at 0-0, Redmond struck with just over 20 minutes remaining to give Norwich their first Premier League win of the season.
"I'm just happy to score in front of a full house at Carrow Road," he told Sky Sports News. "Hopefully it's the first of many, but it's a sense of relief.
"We needed the win and we went back to basics, but it takes everyone to contribute to get the win."
Redmond signed for the Canaries from Birmingham City in the summer.
