New signing Lewis Grabban bagged a brace for Norwich City as they entertained the Carrow Road crowd with a 2-2 pre-season draw with Celta Vigo on Friday.
Grabban, who joined the Canaries from Bournemouth earlier this summer, netted twice but the La Liga side fought back to level the scores before half time.
It took the 26-year-old only six minutes to get on the scoresheet as he latched on to a precise pass from Martin Olsson to slot home, and he had doubled his tally five minutes later.
Wes Hoolahan was the creator as he dribbled between two Celta defenders before squaring for Grabban to convert as Norwich began their final warm-up match for the new campaign with great promise.
Alex Lopez and Santi Mina had long-range efforts for the Spaniards before they pulled one back courtesy of a strike from Nolito, who ran onto Michael Krohn-Dehli's through ball on 29 minutes.
After Joaquin Larrivey hit the post for the visitors, Krohn-Dehli added a goal to his assist. The Danish international collected a short corner and impressively bent the ball into the far corner just prior to the break.
It was Celta who were more willing to press for a winner after the restart as Charles shot into the side-netting and Fabian Orellana forced Norwich number one John Ruddy into a strong save.
Yelko Pino, 17, also went close with a volley but only Bradley Johnson threatened for the hosts in the second period with an effort from distance which was kept out by Ruben, as the Norfolk side prepared for their Championship opener against Wolverhampton Wanderers with an admirable draw.
