Nottingham Forest have agreed a compensation package with Portsmouth for the services of Steve Cotterill, according to Sky Sports News.
The 47-year-old has been heavily linked with the manager's role at the City Ground recently following the departure of Steve McClaren at the beginning of the month.
Pompey reportedly wanted £300,000 compensation from the Midlands club in return for Cotterill.
Forest are currently 21st in the Championship, two places behind Portsmouth.
