Cyle Larin and Kaka scored in the second half as Orlando City beat Colorado Rapids 2-0 in the MLS on Wednesday evening.
Colorado started the match strongly, with Lucas Pittinari and Luis Solignac both forcing saves from Tally Hall inside the opening four minutes.
Orlando City dominated the rest of the first half though, as Brek Shea, Cristian Higuita and Darwin Ceren's shots were all blocked.
Kaka came closest to scoring on the verge of half time, but his powerful shot from the edge of the box was parried by Clint Irwin.
Orlando continued to dominate the second half, and Larin's shot was saved in the 50th minute. Kaka then hit the post from the centre of the penalty area three minutes later.
Larin gave Orlando the lead on the hour mark, racing behind the Colorado defence to score on the one-on-one.
It took just three minutes for their lead to be doubled when Kaka netted his eighth goal of the season.
Sam Cronin and Dillon Powers failed to test Hall in the closing stages.
