Orlando City and the Philadelphia Union have played out a goalless draw in their MLS clash at Citrus Bowl.
Servando Carrasco had the first opening of the match for the home side when he tried to lift the ball over John McCarthy from distance, but his effort went wide of the post.
The Union came within inches of taking the lead as Sebastien Le Toux carved out space for a strike and his shot clattered off the post and bounced to safety.
City hit back as Kaka beat two challenges to slide a through ball into the feet of Cyle Larin, but his low effort was saved by McCarthy.
Darwin Ceren created an opportunity for himself just before the break when he used a piece of skill to carve out room for an opening, but his shot drifted wide of the target.
In the second half, Orlando won a free kick in a dangerous area and Luke Boden lifted the ball to the back post for Larin, but he guided his headed effort just over the bar.
Philadelphia almost went ahead when Cristian Maidana was afforded space and time on the edge of the box to fire at goal, but Tally Hall produced a fine stop to keep the scores level.
The Union nearly broke the deadlock in the final minutes of the match when Maidana lifted a cross into the box and Richie Marquez headed at goal from close range, but Hall made another save to earn his side a share of the spoils.
