Oxford United have signed Welsh midfielder Jonathan Meades on a free transfer.
The 21-year-old, who was released by Bournemouth earlier this month, spent most of last season on loan at AFC Wimbledon.
Meades has signed a two-year contract at the Kassam Stadium.
Meanwhile, Oxford have handed new one-year deals to midfielder Scott Davies and striker Deane Smalley.
Davies told the club's official website: "It's a great club, everyone has made me feel very welcome and I am looking forward to a successful season."
Smalley added: "I have enjoyed my time here and feel I have more to give. I was pleased with my game last season and contribution to the team, but know I need more goals.
"I am confident I can add that to my game next season and can't wait to report back again."
Smalley, who joined Oxford from Oldham Athletic in May 2011, has found the net seven times in 54 appearances for the U's.
