Maurice Edu's 76th-minute goal was enough to earn Philadelphia Union a point against Montreal Impact.
The hosts took the lead with eight minutes gone after Eric Ayuk Mbu's fizzing shot proved too much for Evan Bush to handle.
Montreal were back on terms just before the half-hour mark as Dilly Duka teed up Ignacio Piatti for his fourth goal of the campaign.
Their push for a second goal was done no favours when Patrice Bernier was dismissed for a second yellow card on 67 minutes.
However, within moments Montreal were ahead as Jack McInerney netted his fourth of the season.
Minutes later though, they were pegged back as the Union equalised through Edu, who gave the hosts a chance of snatching victory.
Those hopes of a win were dented after Philadelphia were reduced to 10 men for Mbu's second yellow card of the night as both side settled for a point as they edge closer to the playoff places.
