A late strike from Antoine Hoppenot against the Vancouver Whitecaps has given Philadelphia Union their first away win in seven outings.
Hoppenot rocketed a left-footed shot into the top right corner of the Whitecaps net with five minutes remaining at BC Place.
It was a hard-fought win for Philadelphia against a determined Vancouver side, who were unbeaten in their previous 12 home matches.
The Canadian side had battled hard for well over an hour with 10 men, after Jun Marques Davidson was shown a straight red card for a blatant headbutt on Keon Daniel on eight minutes.
