Swindon Town and Preston North End are goalless at half time, despite plenty of goalscoring opportunities in their League One clash at the County Ground.
Preston started the brighter side and could have had the lead in the opening few minutes when striker Joe Garner headed Chris Humphrey's corner towards goal, but Swindon goalkeeper Wes Foderingham palmed it away.
There were further chances for the away side through Garner and winger Paul Gallagher, who hit a free kick inches wide of the top corner, but Foderingham managed to keep them at bay as Swindon rode the early storm from the fast-starting visitors.
The hosts then started to create chances of their own and striker Jonathan Obika twice went close with shots in the box, while Louis Thompson had their best chance but scuffed his effort into the arms of Jamie Jones after being through on goal.
Swindon had more of the ball and finished the half as the stronger side.
