Midfielder Nicky Wroe is one of six players that have been released by Preston North End.
Manager Simon Grayson has started to rebuild his squad after losing in the League One playoff semi-finals, and Wroe, who has spent the majority of the campaign on loan at Shrewsbury Town and Oxford United, is one of half-a-dozen players told they will be leaving Deepdale.
John Mousinho is another to depart the Lancashire club after failing to make an impression under Grayson, while Chris Beardsley, who spent the main part of the season on loan at Bristol Rovers, has also become a free agent.
Graham Cummins, Ryan Croasdale and Alex Nicholson are three others that have been let go at North End.
