Paris Saint-Germain manager Laurent Blanc has targeted a record-breaking finish to the season, having secured the Ligue 1 title.
The Parisians were crowned champions last night after second-placed Monaco dropped points at home to Guingamp in a 1-1 draw, although they followed up the good news by losing against Rennes at the Parc des Princes.
Despite the defeat, PSG remain one point away from Lyon's record tally of 84 points, with two games of the season still to play.
"It was disappointing to lose the game but I hope we can get a few more points between now and the end of the season to beat the Ligue 1 points record," Blanc is quoted as saying by The National.
"I think this team deserves to be in the record books, but to do that we will need to get points against Lille and Montpellier."
Blanc also led Bordeaux to the league title in 2009.
