Sheffield United are leading Premier League opponents Queens Park Rangers 1-0 at half time of their FA Cup third-round clash at Loftus Road.
Marc McNulty's strike gave the League One outfit the lead after a strong opening 35 minutes from Nigel Clough's side.
Jose Baxter almost put the Blades ahead in the 20th minute, but his strike from distance went narrowly wide of the post.
QPR's first attempt came in the 28th minute though Armand Traore, whose left-footed shot from the centre of the box was blocked by the Blades defence.
After being set up by Louis Reed, McNulty opened the scoring with a right-footed strike that beat Alex McCarthy.
QPR top scorer Charlie Austin went close to equalising before the break, but his header went just over the bar.
